I think body blow is an understatement. When Bild and Der Spiegel both give this overwhelming coverage, we have a GAME CHANGER here. Basically, it’s over - the entire basis of the climate change movement.
I suspect that the powers in Germany did some math and figured out that bailing out Greece, Spain, Portugal, Italy and who knows who else is simply too darn expensive, while letting their economies collapse due to their self-imposed end of electricity and other fuel. In other words, without action, they see serious stuff happening in Europe, such as wars and starvation.
...given all that, it looks at though the adults stepped in (finally), and told the little children that their fun in trying to save the world from a non-existent monster was over, and that Europe badly needs to get its act together immediately and end this nightmare.
Don’t be surprised one bit if the same thing happens regarding Islam. Europeans may look like cowed sissies now, but, like the above, they can turn 180 degrees on a dime and the Muzzie will have no clue what hit them.
