Paul campaign disputes Romney's Maine victory

Yesterday, the Maine Republican Party declared Mitt Romney the winner of Maine's caucuses, which were conducted over multiple days. Romney got 39% (2,190 votes) and Ron Paul got 36% (1,996). Rick Santorum finished third and Newt Gingrich fourth.

Yet in a message to supporters last night, the Ron Paul campaign suggested at chicanery over Maine's decision to declare Mitt Romney the winner before all the votes were counted.

Campaign Manager John Tate called the Washington County GOP decision to postpone the caucus for snow an "excuse." Tate even mocked the decision after the predicted three to four inches of snow resulted in only a "dusting."

"This is MAINE we're talking about. The GIRL SCOUTS had an event today in Washington County that wasn't cancelled."

Romney is a real life horror movie for America. In his "wins", he succeeds by driving people away from polls.

In the 2008 GOP caucuses, Romney captured 51% of the vote in Maine while Paul received 18%.

Quite a plunge since 08 for Romney in Maine. (51% to 39% and it ain't over)

Wouldn't it be a hoot if they destroy newt because we know mitt and rick do not have a solid followig to beat obama, if the ruling class got paul. It might be crazy but a pay back nonetheless.

I don’t know what the weather was supposed to be in Maine, but it IS Maine... Seemed kind of funny to cancel a once in every four years event on account of a little snow in Maine of all places.

It usually snows in main in Feb. A Romney backer cancelled the caucus in Washington County. Romney needed a win and this guy needed some campaign cash. Romney tried to buy Iowa and just may have succeeded in buy Maine with less than 200 votes. The "perception" continues that the established candidate is winning.
Stay tuned to see what Romney buys next.

I will not vote for either the flip-flopping Massachusetts liberal or the dope-pushing, traitor-praising, KKK-endorsed, truther, Occupy parasite-supporting, US defense-gutting, crackpot.

Ignore this, right?

Unless your candidate gets ripped off by the Party "leaders". But since you all despise him, it is just fine and dandy! In fact it is a hoot!

Frog, boiling water... Get ready for Mittens...

I live in upstate NY, we got 11inches of snow about five years ago, windchill about -10, and we still had a local Republican Caucus in late January.

It's sad to see a man of such integrity and honesty as Ron Paul be constantly smeared with liberal media lies. If you don't agree with him, at least have the decency to say so, instead of getting into liberal-style name calling.

“It’s sad to see a man of such integrity and honesty as Ron Paul.....”

It is NOT name calling when it is concise descriptive FACTS.

FACT: Crackpot Ron Paul wants dangerous destructive dope legalized despite the massive additional death and destruction legalization would bring on families, individuals, neighborhoods and the nation.
FACT: Crackpot Ron Paul has called traitors of the United States of America, “heroes”.
FACT: Crackpot Ron Paul has supported the Occupy parasite movement and many of them support him.
FACT: Crackpot Ron Paul has been supported by the KKK and Stormfront and his decades of vile newsletters provides them evidence of what he is.
FACT: Crackpot Ron Paul wants to gut the US military and allow terrorists to get nukes.
FACT: Crackpot Ron Paul panders to and agrees with the kook fringe truthers, those who believe the US is to blame for 9/11, and other crazy conspiracy theory crap.
FACT: Crackpot Ron Paul is nuts.

What is “sad to see” is a cult of people who continue to follow, defend, promote and even worship that dope-pushing, traitor-praising, KKK-endorsed, truther, Occupy parasite-supporting, US defense-gutting, crackpot..

Every “fact” you stated is just made up. It really is sad the depth to which the Ron Paul-haters will stoop when they’ve run out of arguments.
