I wish people would read what Norris wrote. Santorum's record is not one of a "true" conservative. He seems to have an innate antithesis towards the 2nd Amendment.
When you look at Rick's life's work, his big achievement is being a Senator. Whop de do. He has held NO leadership position. They guy has an over inflated opinion of himself. He does not show much humility.
A side by side comparison of their positions shows Newt to be the better choice. Newt is fine tuning a wonderfully strong Liberty platform. Rick does not come across strong and natural. He is painful to listen to for more than two minutes.
Rick seems more obsessed with impressing the crowd with how wonderful and pure he is as a Conservative.
Newt on the other hand speaks forcefully about taking on Washington in a big way. Recently you can see Rick parroting a lot of what Newt is speaking about. Pathetic.
I pray that Newt can turn things around and move ahead.

Agreed. The guy takes himself too seriously.
He does not exude the kind of Reagan Conservatism that will garner wide appeal. To the contrary, there’s an aura of despondency that seems to follow him around.
“[Santorum] is painful to listen to more than two minutes”
Oh come on now, isn’t that bad. You call Santorum boring, you’re calling conservatism boring. And besides, you want to see/hear real boring? Try Thadeaus McCotter. His speech at the Ames Straw Poll was so boring, I think some people went to sleep.
His nick name in school was 'rooster'
Amen, and a BTTT Bump.
May God grant us strength.
