On CNN's Sunday show State of the Union, anchor Candy Crowley again brought tough questions to a Democrat about President Obama's plan to impose on a burden on Catholic-affiliated schools, hospitals, and charities to subsidize contraception, sterilization, and abortifacients. New chief of staff Jacob Lew was asked if as an observant Jew, "was there anything about this that made you think twice when it first went out?" Lew athletically dodged that question. Crowley also asied if he could say "with a straight face that the insurance company's going to pick up the cost of this"? Lew dodged that as well.

Community and individuality are not opposites. People cannot survive on their own. When the odds are stacked against you, you must rally with the oppressed and hated.
When a growing oppressive regime is taking hold, you must act, otherwise you will soon face your enemy alone and hopeless.
Strength of community is a strength as much as individualism, as long you are willing to face weaknesses in your own community. Ignoring slacking values will mean that you will be rallied against by those you oppress.
Niemöller affirms we must rally against unhealthy organized regimes. We must also stay vigilant with those that appear to be good natured, as all organisation attracts corruption. Niemöller also warns us that if it is you who are corrupt, then you will face a stronger combined force of foe!

This is not a Catholic issue but a constitutional issue. They tell Christians where we can and cannot put Crosses, copies of the 10 Commandments, etc, and then they tell us that we have to buy insurance....

You are right on the money. I have known it all along!!! Obama is turning this magnificent nation into Germany of the 1930s. it is as plain as the nose on your face. As for Mr. Lew, he is no different from many Jews in Germany that said Hitler will be OK for us if we just give him a few things. I have no use for people like Mr. Lew, that actively support the rise of a cold hearted, evil dictator, Barack Hussein Obama whose hatred of the American nation is in his heart and soul. We better wake up, and...soon!!!
Let me tell you folks out there what history teaches over and over again. If you make your nation weak, you invite attack. You really think the Russians, or the Chinese, or the Muslims, would come in here with open arms for Dictator Obama. No.....they will come to slaughter. When it is legal to kill the unborn in order to ‘benefit’ society, or to ‘spare the unfortunate’ the ‘burden of their deformity’ it is a short walk to the outright forcing of death upon greater society. All in the name of societies benefit.
