Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, an Army psychiatrist, is accused of the mass shooting that took place on Nov. 5, 2009, at Fort Hood, Tex. The incident was one of the worst mass shootings ever on an American military base. Thirteen people were killed and close to 30 people were wounded.
