The White House says, except they don't say because it's anonymous, but they agree nevertheless.

In any event, who's really surprised by the Russian and Chinese decision? Anyone with a pedestrian knowledge either nation's history shows how little they value lives. With Israel being the lone exception, the Middle Eastern nations are right there with Russia and China.

Nothing like entertaining a Chinese leader in the White House while stabbing him in the back in the Media.

I’m not surprised, either. Moscow and Damascus have had close ties for decades, and I’m sure they’d both rather see the status quo upheld. I’m not entirely sure what China’s angle is (I don’t know the extent of their diplomatic and economic involvement with Syria is), but their actions aren’t unexpected either.

The fraud in the white hut has supported the moslem brotherhood from the start, when he 1st brayed to the koranimals in Cairo, which has resulted in a middle east being handed over to the saudi’s proxy, while using our military to achieve its’ goals in the greatest betrayal to Freedom in our history.

Assad is killing members of the moslem brotherhood & AQME.

If he survives, I hope he wipes out the filthy saudis afterward. It would be due justice to all those killed by the wahabbis throughout the world who the saudis have funded.

hypocrisy much? Didn’t Obama recently gave himself the power to kill other Americans. Syria should just pass an anti-terrorist law and point to US law as the model

If we Americans - realistically speaking - what would most want to see happen - whether it be the Tea Party or OWS that took up arms in anger against those interests that control the US government? Some Americans have anger problems and will act against what they perceive as anti-American or anti-liberty activity? Are they right or wrong?

Liberty is not about a common belief. Some (Patrick Henry) might put liberty above security, others would bow down and give up everything if it meant more security.

What would happen if the USA ever found itself in a Syrian like situation? Surmising and just guessing the first thing that would happen would be the media would go into overdrive to portray disruption as the threat; the second might be condemnation of any bloodshed in the streets (just as in Syria or Egypt); the third would be a requirement to collect all firearms; and fourth the suspension of the Bill of Rights. Many Americans would happily accept this outcome as necessary, but there would be differences of opinion and not based upon politics or Rs or Ds.

It is important to recognize that history is not as cleanly cut as the history books portray. What would have occurred in 1770s had the MSM worked for the interests of King George, versus the USA people? This is always a very sticky subject that is not cut and dry and that many of us see as more nightmare than glamorous or historic. We need to keep our politicians in line with our Constitution before it ever goes beyond the boundaries.

WTF? Assad is a filthy SOB, but we supporting the muslim brotherhood? How well has that worked out in the other arab countries? Al Queda is supporting the same side as our fellow-traveling muslim in the white hut, What side are we on, anyway? Seems like if al queda likes it, so does the kenyan.
