Mitt Romney's overall favorable ratings have dropped, while Rick Santorum's standing has jumped among Republicans, according to a new national survey.
A CNN/ORC International poll released Tuesday indicates Romney's popularity has especially taken a tumble among Republicans, with a 13-point decline in positive reviews from his own party.

This is blow back from Milts scorched earth policy in FL. He deserves all the misery he gets for that. This certainly ties his hand in going after Santorum in MI.
I like sincerety and character but I am not seeing fire in the belly anger come out of the guy. I want a scrapper and a fighter not Ozzie Nelson.
I don’t care about the rich.

Ozzie Nelson you are showing your age there. Twas very funny though and I loved it.
Does anyone remember The Stepford Wives?” Mitt reminds me of that. He is the Stepford candidate.
I work around lots of lefties. They are a lot more afraid of Romney than Santorum. Flame if you want, I’m just saying what I observe on a daily basis...
Oh noez
Sniff...

“I work around alot of lefties, too though here in Florida, they say they like Romney if he were to win. They are afraid of Newt, the most.”
Lefties have a deep seated, visceral hatred of Newt. On that point, there seems to be universal agreement regardless of which region in the country they reside. Romney on the other hand is perhaps seen in the context of his Massachusetts experience, that state being the mothership, if not Zeta Reticuli, for the moonbats. LOL.
I hope what he done to Newt in Florida, will not be forgotten of how he tried to destroy a good man. Newt stopped Mitt’s evil little plan ( I will be selected) to have the nomination when Newt crushes him in South Carolina. Thank the Lord, South Carolina stopped Mittens. Now, all out war to destroy one of their own. An author could write a book about this alone.

That’s so funny.... :)
How’s that “scorched earth” strategy working for you, Willard?
Looks like the faded blue jeans didn’t fool anyone into thinking you were a regular guy.
What I’ve observed in this cycle is that opinions on electability represent anything but actual electability. They simply reflect the projection of what a person’s individual preference is. Liberals and moderates think Romney is electable because’s he’s liberal to moderate. They think Rick is unelectable because THEY would never vote for a candiate with his views on social policy. When a candidate is deemed unelectable during a firestorm of attack ads, it’s because those ads have made the specific person telling you that no longer willing to vote for that candidate.
There are very few people who qualify as political analysts that have the expertise to tell you who is genuinely electable or not. And most of them seem to agree that almost anyone is electable under the right circumstances (see: community-organizer-in-chief). But then that’s why they’re the experts.
Indeed. I heard Ann on Hannity today, and she didn’t forget to bring her Romney kneepads - saying she wanted to deport Newt, muttering “screw the Christians” and claiming that Santorum’s taking the lead in polls in Michigan meant nothing because the Mittbot stood up to “big auto” or some such nonsense.
Of course, she also didn’t hesitate to plug her book and mention what a wildly enthusiastic reception she got from conservatives at CPAC (yeah, all three of them that support Romney).
Any canidate that is honestly vetted will suffer in popularity. That is what happens when voters are actually engaged and educated about elections.
No one has vetted Obama yet, and no one will if Mittens is the guy to run against Obama. He will only attack conservatives - his only opposition.
If Ann Coulter actually did say “screw the Christians,” I finally understand how she could be seen with Bill Maher. They share the same views. Maher has been saying “screw the Christians” for years. Ann did write that book Godless. But I guess she was only faking it just like her idol, Mitt Romney.
What are the Intrade odds on Ann writing a scathing indictment of Rick Santorum in her column this week?
