Aloha, Hawaii...((HUGS))...how are you and son doing? Still working on a trip to the mainland?

Our supposed 1 inch of sleet turned into almost 6 inches of snow on my driveway. We are running out of places to put it.

I did call the municipality and ask about getting a loader to make the pile in the cul-de-sac taller instead of so low and W I D E. My street is already one lane with all the snow and bigger vehicles are having a tough time getting around the circle and back out.

What a day today....one that was expected to be non eventful but ended up with lots of events. Just a short trip to the store this morning and on the way home, the car in front of me stopped short because some punk ran out in front of him...so I had to pile on my brakes too. The punk escaped, there was no bumper banger but my brake line busted. Limped home in low gears and called my son to give me a hand fixing it. Well to make a short story long tomorrow we'll replace all the brake lines just to be sure this doesn't happen elsewhere in the system.

Yes....the trip is still on; just have to find a right date for the family reunion.
