The foolish states that have endorsed state-funded wind power projects will regret it, but they will never admit their costly mistake.
Last year, during one of the coldest Februarys on record, Texas found out that the windmills stopped producing power. Power companies were forced to buy Mexican power at killer prices to provide heat and light to Texans. So much for the “experts,” who claim magical results for “green power.”
Somehow, I don’t think the ‘states’ paid for these windmills. Until 2010, the federal subsidy on these was essentially 25% of cost.
We have all been foolish enought to ofund these.
