I also earnestly pray, dearest sister in Christ! I'd rather pray than "rebuke."
For one thing, I do not know how to "rebuke" anybody into salvation.
Neither do I.
Titus 2:15
These, then, are the things you should teach.
Encourage and rebuke with all authority.
Do not let anyone despise you.
The 'command' seems to have left out 'pray'.
The 'despise' thing I seem to have very little control over.
The 'command' [from Titus] seems to have left out 'pray'. Well dear brother in Christ, we humans can "rebuke" all day long BUT to "command" is utterly beyond human mortal powers. And so if we can't "command," then all we can have left to do is to "pray."
No human "commands" anything in this world, nor the world to come.
JMHO, FWIW.
May God ever bless you, dear brother in Christ! You, and all your dear ones!
