According to the Courier-Post Online, they did not lower it for Frank Sinatra:
"When Sinatra died in 1998, flags were not lowered by then-Gov. Christie Whitman."
It's only Cristie the panderer who has lowered the flag and our dignity to commemorate the death of an entertainer.
