A federal judge’s ruling has temporarily halted the Tennessee Department of Health’s decision to rescind funding for Planned Parenthood’s HIV and syphilis testing program.

Today, U.S. Dist. Judge William Haynes granted a preliminary injunction filed by Planned Parenthood, which is suing the state over $150,000 in dropped grants.

A portion of the grant money supported HIV testing at Planned Parenthood affiliates including the Memphis Gay and Lesbian Community Center.

I guess they’ll just have to cut the judicial branch budget then.

Where do these sick maggots get their authority to tell We the People what they can and cannot do? Hmmmmm? It’s not in the Constitution or the Bill or Rights. Somehow, we need to find a way to tell the thick morons living in this country that it is OUR Government, OUR Constitution and OUR Bill of Rights. It doesn’t belong to some moronic “judge”.

The left is in full rebellion. We must start treating this as a war against our individual liberties protected under the constitution.

How can a federal judge determine what a state, and thus taxpayers dollars, does with it’s money concerning a private organization like Planned Parenthood.

What next? If I order Pizza Hut will a judge then force me to also buy from Dominoes? If Tennessee no longer wants to fund a private firm (why they did to begin with is beyond me, I keep voting for the conservatives), then it’s not the business of the federal government.

Unfortunately, as usual, we here in TN have a weak-kneed, spinless RINO as governor. And our bobsie twin senators are more RINO than the Maine bimbos. Also, since around 2006, my representative, the supposed conservative Marsha Blackburn, has been MIA.

The squishy liberals in the GOP need purged or we conservatives need to boycott the party. Once they are back in the small minority we can clean house and start over.

No “Federal Judge” has the Authority anywhere in the Constitution to ORDER A STATE TO Give a GIFT to a PRIVATE ORGANIZATION. Arrest The Judge and STAND YOUR GROUND. Put Him On Trial For Conspiracy, and hold him without Bail until conviction.

It is full fledged political warfare.

Too bad only one army is fielded

We are long past the point where elected officials should have dropped the hammer on the judicial branch. If they do not adopt a ‘now let them enforce it’ attitude soon, they just need to publicly and officially announce that we are now a dictatorship and stop playing games.

Just admit it to the people and let the cards fall where they may.

That’s what the taxpayer funded Health Department is there for. Giving money to Planned Parenthood is giving money to abortion. I don’t care how you try to rationalize it or limit its use, it goes for abortion. The Health Department is your free STD clinic and testing center, no need to be funding PP

You got that right! Even after another blowout election in 2010 and in less than two years there is the “establisment” again behind us running with white flags flying.

Cowards.

Not a lot of detail in the story. Was the funding cut off in mid year, and the must continue for remainder of the year. If this is a budget item that is funded each year, just don’t include it in the next budget!!
