Romney is like Sharon Stone in
Basic Instinct, unwilling to accept "no" from the man she wants to love her, or like John Hinckley following Ronald Reagan in a grand gesture to impress Jodie Foster, sure that he just has to do a little more to earn that love. Just as Sharon Stone's character and then Hinkley refused to accept the fact that they were not wanted by the objects of their desire, Romney refuses to accept the obvious fact that GOP voters are desperate for anyone except Mitt to save them from Mitt. Personally, I'd rather date Sharon Stone's psychotic character (since my kids don't have a pet rabbit) than settle for Romney.
