We don't sell products or services on FR. We don't sell advertising. We don't charge membership dues. We are not a 501c non profit and therefore are not subject to government regulation. We pay all applicable taxes on our income and are free to speak our mind. Our operating costs are funded solely by donations from our readers and participants and that's the way we'd like to keep it if we possibly can. We are beholden to no one but our like-minded, pro-life, small government, strong defense, conservative grassroots membership!!

The funds raised in these FReepathons go to pay our current quarter expenses. But we're also going to try to replace some of our older servers and failing equipment this year so we're going to add a little extra to our FReepathon goals. John is estimating ten to fifteen thousand to do this and I'd like to get it all in place and working before the election cycle is fully heated up, so we'll try to bring in a little extra now, if we can, and the rest next quarter.

No matter who gets the nomination or eventually wins the election, we're going to need FR more than ever to hold their feet to the fire!!

We need FR and FR needs you!!

The movie review:
The first movie was "The Rum Diary" with Johnny Depp, Aaron Eckhart, Michael Rispoli, Amber Heard, Richard Jenkins, and a brilliant performance by Giovanni Ribisi, as is usual for him.

Johnny, an author and reporter, gets a job at a failing newspaper in Puerto Rico. But there is a lot more to the job than he bargains for, and the boss's motives and business practices are questionable. There is also a lot of corruption rampant throughout the island.

Set in the early 1960's, this is a story of love, drinking, and finding oneself. We gave it 4 stars.

Will be back later with the rating of the second movie.

My family and I caught the “Norovirus”. Google that bad boy once. I think that after 5 days, I am finally getting back to actually being able to sit on something that is NOT a plumbing fixture in a bathroom for more than a 15 minute stretch.
