Texas Gov. Rick Perry will appear with Newt Gingrich for the first time at the CNN debate in Mesa, Ariz., on Feb. 22, a spokesperson for Perry confirmed to ABC News.

Perry will appear in the spin room with Gingrich after the debate. There are no other events planned, at this time.

Perry endorsed Gingrich when he dropped out of the race on Jan. 19 but has yet to appear publicly with him.

....I will take Santorum who can win.... You go ahead and dream. If Newt was going to be the winner, he would be winning everything. Look, Newt is an old guy who has been around the block too many times.

Get lost. A lot of people said the exact same thing about Reagan.

If your man is Santo...then stick to your man...leave this thread alone.

So who made you the boss? Thanks, I will do as I please and I won’t be asking you for permission.

Ta ta! Right now, I will go with a winner. Not someone who has no hope of beating Romney or Obama.

"Remember, Cathy.. We. Are. Trying. To. Beat. Willard & Obama, the liberal twins. Not HELP them."

You're right! Which is why I'm hoping Herman stays quiet. ;)

He is it seems ;)

Btw, did you see this today over at Politico?

Separate filings late Friday indicate that Texas Gov. Rick Perry’s presidential campaign spent more than eight times the money it raised during January — an ultimately futile effort to regain relevance and momentum he squandered late last year amid poor debate performances and ill-fated campaign strategy.

“But by that point the whole thing felt like a snowball careening downhill, out of control.”

That is basically the same way this entire nomination process feels. Pray we don’t end with a final downward spiral to our doom with a Saint Rick or Mitten’s nomination.

Your posts are lacking facts. You said nothing except insults.

I’m not understanding the Perry hate. I was a Cain supporter early on, but Perry is my governor and a good man. To constantly insult him and his intelligence is getting quite old. Saint Rick is a moderate, which is probably why you tie him in with another good-for-nothing Huckabee in your tag.

Hey now!! I resemble that Palookaville comment!

Although Governor Perry may not have been my first choice during the primary, he has been a very good governor and I am pleased to claim him as such.

I sincerely hope you live in a great state with excellent politicians. :)

You are not understanding the Perry hate because only liberals cloaked in red-sounding screen names come out of the woodwork to sink daggers into Perry when his sphere of competence and influence circles back.

Cainconservative is a liberal troll who knows how to not cross the line by one micron.

Look, the old crew is back in team ... just like the old days.
Their sensitivity to Perry gives them away.

I think Dan Rather and his kid is paying them per post.

I think Rick Perry would have been the very best candidate of all....Now he and Fred Thompson are backing Newt....maybe Newt will make a big time come-back.

Lets hope, anyway.

But I doish Perry was still running.

But why would you send Perry into the spin room to HELP? Remember, Cathy.. We. Are. Trying. To. Beat. Willard & Obama, the liberal twins.

I guess you haven't seen how great Gov. Perry is out on the stump.

But you will.

Thanks for including that blurb about the equipment. It’ll be another last mile donation this round, but I’ll add some extra for the gear.

Too bad about Rick’s tongue-tied debate moments, but I’ve grown to like the guy more so for it. Good to see him hangin’ with Newt.

Resurrected an old tag in his honor.
