Clovis Elementary Monday: Presidents Day No school
Tuesday: Breakfast Breakfast pizza. Lunch Spaghetti and meat sauce, green beans, ranch salad and bread stix and fruit smoothie.
Wednesday: Breakfast Cinnamon roll. Lunch Porky rib on a bun, baked french fries, coleslaw and fruited Jell-O.
Thursday: Breakfast Mini pancakes. Lunch Pizza pasta bake, mixed veggies, chilled fruit and cookie.
Friday: Breakfast Taco omelet. Lunch Beef and cheese soft taco, seasoned pinto beans, lettuce, tomato, salsa and seasonal fruit.
Clovis junior high/high School
Monday: Presidents Day No school
Tuesday: Breakfast Frudel. Lunch Eggroll, fried rice, oriental veggies and banana.
Wednesday: Breakfast French toast. Lunch Barbecue pulled pork sandwich, mixed veggies and seasonal fruit.
Thursday: Breakfast Chicken biscuit. Lunch Popcorn chicken, cheesy mashed potatoes, ranch salad and fruited Jell-O.
Friday: Breakfast Mini pancakes. Lunch Philly cheese steak sandwich, tater tots, mini carrots and ranch and fruit whip.

The breakfasts look like a waste to begin with.

Knowing kids a lot of what’s on the menu will end up in the trash uneaten or tasted.
A side bar. My grandmother was a cook at Elida schools many years ago. On her first day she made beautiful peach cobbler with salt instead of sugar. Someone had mislabeled the bin.
People in Eastern New Mexico know how to eat.

Lunch looks ok. But you’re right, breakfast looks like sugar and fiberless carbohydrates, for the most part. The kids need some protein and fiber at breakfast.
Off topic, I don’t understand why the food police declared pizza a vegetable.

According to my (ancient) recollections of ancient archaeology, we all may have some relatives born there! The Clovis Culture pre-dates the mysterious Ho-Ho-Kums and may actually have been the original inhabitants of the New World.
