And we know that there are doctors out there that are blatantly willing to lie—it’s part of the record of the Wisconsin protests.

Same thing happened with the welfare reform act, millions were moved from welfare to ssi and the politicians claimed a great victory.

Taxpayer funded unemployment benefits are the new temporary welfare.

Taxpayer funded disability benefits are the new permanent welfare.

The are lawyers who specialize in getting folks on disability. And they are good at what they do.

“A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the majority discovers it can vote itself largess out of the public treasury. After that, the majority always votes for the candidate promising the most benefits with the result the democracy collapses because of the loose fiscal policy ensuing, always to be followed by a dictatorship, then a monarchy.”

I’m going to give many of these people the benefit of the doubt.

18% increase in what is supposedly a shrinking labor pool? Next thing Unicorns fly out of Obama's a$$.

And for those who choose SSD, it is barely enough to pay the rent and the rest of the week they spend their time chasing after the food bank and community free meals from various churches and the Salvation Army.

I would certainly tell them to find work close to home to begin with, then find your American dream and live it, you can have it all or at least have some satisfaction in pursuing life close enough to match your god given talents.

Yep, know one who told me he didn’t dare take any more work hours and enjoys working in a place meant for folks with disability, because of the disability for a nervous break down, and they would cut him off if he worked too much.

Yep, seen 3 young men running around town as if they had no care in the world, enjoying all of life’s freebies thanks to more Government handouts, I assume they were recovering alcoholics or drug addicts, and I do have some sympathy, but it wouldn’t be a life times’ worth, and it ends after too many “slips”.

Locally we have three lawyers with TV ads soliciting disability claims

The lawyers are being paid to do it and make it legal

Until we exterminate the lawyers, no money is safe
