People sometimes forget that before guns there were still the same amount (percentage-wise) of murders. Back then it was done with fire, blunt instruments, poison, knives, swords, strangling, drowning and so on.

The gun was merely the "equalizer." Long live the equalizer.

Today the big killer is the nuclear bomb, well any bomb. Gun-haters forget that in their glazed-eye fanaticism. Murderers WILL find a way, with or without a gun.

Wouldn’t the nuclear bomb be the “equalizer” in these times?

Of which both I think are on the chopping block for us.
