Sis who has kids and in laws etc in the state says the unions/D will take him out. Big push to cross over and vote for Santorum. Stop Romney is their purpose.

I hear a fair amount of Romney's negative ads on the radio, I presume he's putting them on TV as well (I don't watch), it's going to make it close.

Romney is trying to take out his opponents because he can't run on his record.

I have my doubts that the unions are all going to cross over to vote for Santorum. Right off the top it removes their chance to vote in any democrat primaries to do so. (They get either a republican or democrat ballot with no crossovers) The unions crossed over and voted for Snyder in 2010 and feel like they got burned when he actually won. Not to mention the huge sums of money the unions spent losing big time.

We’ve also got a fast growing conservative union movement growing in the state led by Terry Bowman who actually testified against the use of union dues going to candidates on capitol hill last week. Bowman is also pushing for right to work in Michigan.

Is that because they view Santorum as more pro-union than Romney? Or is it because the think Santorum will be easier to beat in the general? I think Santorum will be a lot tougher for Obama to beat in the general than Romney.
