One most go where the jobs are. Emigrate, my dear. Do it while your young and able. In my travels around the world I encountered Europeans in the most unlikely spots. All of them gainfully employed outside of Europe and choosing to remain that way. Danish construction contractors in Africa. German electricians in Central America. English language teachers and librarians in Sri Lanka. Every time I met one and said something like, “My gawd! What's a Dane doing here in Niger?” They'd always laugh and say because that's where the job was. And all, though a tad homesick, were quite happy none the less.
