The Democratic National Committee outraised its Republican counterpart by about $3 million last month, according to reports released Monday.
The DNC raked in $13.3 million in January, compared to the Republican National Committee’s haul of $10.5 million. The Democrats’ report includes $6.2 million in contributions to the committee, as well as $7 million channeled through the Obama Victory Fund, a joint committee set up by President Barack Obama’s reelection campaign and the DNC.
But the Republican fundraising arm had more cash in the bank by the end of last month, the Federal Election Commission reports show. The RNC had $23.4 million cash on hand heading into this month, while the DNC had only $15.7 million.
The DNC outspent the GOP committee last month, shelling out $10.1 million compared to the RNC’s $7 million.
well, it’s not surprising considering the fact that any industry that doesn’t cooperate will find themselves put out of business (or at least significantly disadvantaged) by some presidential directive, or newly minted regulation, or some other such fiat.

I get the sense that there is sort of a frenzied panice going on over at the DNC. I get the feeling they're trying to get as much cash as they can in the coffers before the next unemployment report shows bad news again for bambi.

If GOP tycoons shell out big money like Sheldon Adelson has suggested he would, it’s quite possible that the GOP will match the Dems on campaign spending, for a change. Super PAC’s could be our salvation this election cycle.
All they have to do is erase some more millions from the labor pool and put a bunch more on ‘disability’ and those numbers can be massaged
Yes, one of Mitt Romney's 2012 Presidential PAC is asking me for my opinions. ..they care so much.
But it will cost me $ 15.00 for tabulating my survey should I decide not to support the RNC and their candidate with a more substantial donation. ...I guess they really don't care about my opinions as they are in my cash.
What I'm going to do is go back last week and find that Freeper rant about her call into the RNC and her arguement with an unapologetic Romney supporter and then put it in the RNC's prepaid envelope.
LOL, good idea! I was just looking at that thing this morning. On the face of it, I’d be pretty pleased to have the thing go in for tabulation, but as you say, it’s the money not the opinions they want. If they really believed the boilerplate they provide, they wouldn’t be pushing Romney, so I’m probably just going to recycle it tonight.

This GOP presidential primary season, I have supported Michelle Backmann, Rick Perry, Herman Cain and Rick Santorum with individual donations.
In 2010 I gave to individual House/Senate candidates, and DeMint’s Senate Conservatives Fund.
The days of giving blindly to the back-stabbing GOP are gone. Republican Senate and House incumbents that include the likes of: Snowe, Collins, Graham, McCain, Boehner (and a few others) can kiss my lilly-white a$$ and I still wouldn’t give them (The GOP) a freakin’ dime!
There is an article on Drudge about republican super PACs raising more money than the candidates themselves. It appears that more conservative donors have figured out that political donations are better given to organizations that actually want to win.
And they are going to need it. I haven’t gave to the RNC since 2004 and will not be giving to these liberal collaborators in the future. They can spread socialism on their own dime.

The problem is that most of the current candidates have the charisma and ideology of a turd. Businesspeople want to back winners, not losers, and the GOP has had a long list of losers including the “Booshes.” Obama will wipe up the floor with either Romney or Santorum and Ron Paul isn’t even in the game and he knows it. Newt would make a good president but he’s been slammed by the Romney slime machine into the next century. With Obama’s sorry record, he should be in the toilet, but unless something changes, he’s going to get another term which will allow him to finish off America as we have known it!
