Carney: GOP cancelled Keystone, not Obama By Neil Munro - The Daily Caller 1:49 PM 02/21/2012
WASHINGTON The president didnt stop the Keystone XL oil pipeline Republicans did.
Thats the message on Tuesday from White House spokesman Jay Carney as gas prices rise above $4.00 per gallon.
The president didnt turn down the Keystone pipeline, Carney said, because the proposal to construct the pipeline was reviewed by the Department of State.
President Barack Obamas decisions to nix construction of the pipeline has been repeatedly attacked by the GOP, and by some Democratic-allied unions representing construction workers. They say Obama cancelled the pipeline, and up to 20,000 well-paying jobs, to please his environmentalist supporters as the November election draws closer.
The November decision to reject the construction plan was the result of a decision make, to honor, the concerns of those in Nebraska, including the Republican governor [that the pipeline] would threaten the water supply in Nebraska, Carney said.
Obama again nixed the pipeline in January after Republican leaders had attached a pipeline mandate to the year-end spending plans.

Another hour another lie. Just like any other day for this administration.
Do people really believe the sh** that comes out of the White House anymore...OMG!
They would think nothing of “eliminating” their opposition if they thought that they could get away with it.
The ends justify the means.
And when they define their “ends” as heaven on earth,
ANY means necessary is justified.
Is he stupid or something? The debate in Nebraska was where the piepeline would be RE-routed. And they all signed off on the final route back in Nov.
“The lefts long march through the institutions has been completed.”
Ah, but the purges have yet to begin!
That’s where the fun is for the masses.
I'd argue that Carney's comments are a sign that the current regime recognizes gas prices are high and heading higher. That as a result a lot of angry voters will be holding Obama accountable for it.
This reasoning, of a single Governor taking issue with the pipeline was he only thing holding Barry back is BS. It suggests that none of the other Governors and none of the many environmental bureaucracies found anything substantive to suggest stopping the project. It is ridiculous.
You know objective reporting is truly dead when the media will report and absolute lie as truth. We have become morally sick in the USA. May justice somehow prevail before reality comes home and kicks all of our butts.
The candidates need to FOCUS ON OBAMA’S LIES AND FAILURES!
Leave each other alone or we all lose!
Is this guy on drugs? His nose must enter a room 10 minutes before he does.
Problem is people well actually believe what BHO and his three ring circus tell them.
Congressman Joe Wilson nailed Obama and his entire corrupt administration:

The purges will get going when we have the “show trials” put on by “Holder’s people” getting their reparations.
Years ago the left told us what they were going to do and exactly how they were going to do it, and they did. We let them do it to us.
Read “Biedermann und die Branstifter.” It’s the same story.
The media “MFers” need to understand that they’re “on the list” if the SHTF.
Their buddy 0bama is attempting an overthrow without first performing the necessary disarmament of his opposition.
This gives a whole new meaning to: “That’s a stretch”.
Then Carney said: “The President isn’t a Democrat. Republicans are Democrats.”
Then he flapped his arms like wings and flew out of the room.
Guess who articulated it first.
