Carney: GOP cancelled Keystone, not Obama By Neil Munro - The Daily Caller 1:49 PM 02/21/2012

WASHINGTON – The president didn’t stop the Keystone XL oil pipeline — Republicans did.

That’s the message on Tuesday from White House spokesman Jay Carney as gas prices rise above $4.00 per gallon.

“The president didn’t turn down the Keystone pipeline,” Carney said, because the proposal to construct the pipeline was reviewed by the Department of State.

President Barack Obama’s decisions to nix construction of the pipeline has been repeatedly attacked by the GOP, and by some Democratic-allied unions representing construction workers. They say Obama cancelled the pipeline, and up to 20,000 well-paying jobs, to please his environmentalist supporters as the November election draws closer.

The November decision to reject the construction plan “was the result of a decision make, to honor, the concerns of those in Nebraska, including the Republican governor … [that the pipeline] would threaten the water supply in Nebraska,” Carney said.

Obama again nixed the pipeline in January after Republican leaders had attached a pipeline mandate to the year-end spending plans.

Amazing that since his departure Carney hasn’t tried to live-down his image as Fabrication Secretary for the 0bummer regime. Must still be on the payroll of the DNC.

And yet people support these crooks, befuddles me. I do think though if things don’t change in November, It will hit the fan in a big way. Better to get ready now and be prepared.

If the voters are dumb enough to put this evil regime in again I truly think it will be the beginning of the end. They won’t be getting any smarter if four years of 0bummer wasn’t enough to enlighten them. The problem is that most 0bummer supporters don’t care what happens to the country so long as they get theirs. Of course at some point there won’t be anything for them to get.

I’m losing track of the lies here....

Obama and his socialist Progressives know you can fool enough of the people enough of the time...especially if the media are in your back pocket.

Jay Carney makes Baghdad Bob look like George Washington when it comes to honesty.

White House spokesman Jay Carney also known as a political whore.

And they wonder why the average person in flyover country hates the media’s guts! They will say anything for this piece of crap some people call President.

None of them have an ounce of integrity yet they think we are the problem. Look in the damn mirror Jay Carney, et al. You have never been a journalist and after this little stint you never will be either. You will forever be tied to the worst President in American history for destroying our great country while you LIE ABOUT IT!

“objective reporting is truly dead when the media will report and absolute lie as truth.”

Actually they should begin each news report with the notation: The following is the current truth as we have been instructed to say it.

Right now their internal polling must show Obama getting crushed over this and some other issues so now they feel they must lie about it or if they cave then his base will punish him more.

Funny, a big lib I know told me this was the reason about a week ago. "Obama didn't stop it, the Republicans did. They lie about Obama all the time"

Was this excuse tried out on some of the leftist blogs a week or two ago?

I think this got some positive feedback among leftist blogsters and supporters, so Carney trotted it out. His leftist base are the only ones who are going to believe this.

Somebody at FR who likes searching for this stuff in enemy territory, please have at it.

Jay Carney: "AND, Republicans imposed strict environmental regulations. And they want to ban your guns! And they hate big business! And they love welfare and taxes! Republicans are Communists!"

Jay, a bit of advice: If you are just going to make up crazy shit, go whole-hog, like the above.

The way these people think... it’s astounding. To be this consistently deceitful is not normal, and it’s worse than a mental defect. They ooze the evil that lives in them.

Apparently at least 45% of this country do.

This is beyond crazy.

If "The Blame Game" is going to be played why not blame Shrillary!
since it was her decision first and he merely supported her decision?

Could it be that doing so puts too much attention on the Democrats?
