WASHINGTON (AP) -- The president just couldn't say no: Mick Jagger held out a mic almost by way of command, and soon Barack Obama was belting out the blues with the best of them.

The East Room of the White House was transformed into an intimate blues club on Tuesday night for a concert featuring blues all-stars of the past, present and future - and the president himself.

It's just one big party for the dear leader and family. He parties as the rest of us worry how we are going to feed our kids tomorrow, or pay the morgage, or buy gas, or.. Uh hell... I could go on but what's the use..... Photobucket

Yes! Your selection is MUCH better! (I've never heard that song) hahahaha!

Photobucket

Bum bum bumadum...

The party was jumping

When Bertha got off of her stump

The whistles were blowing

And everybody did the bump

But all the time Bertha

Had been working on a goodie

Now folks call it the

Bertha Butt Boogie

When Bertha Butt did her goodie

She started the Bertha Butt Boogie

No question

Bum bum bumadum...

When Bertha got moving

Her hips were humming in the wind

The ground started shaking

No grass grew where she'd been

The music was popping

The crowd had formed a ring

Her sisters yelled, boogie, Bertha

Do your thing

Oh, for your information

Bertha had three sisters

Betty Butt, Bella Butt

And Bathsheba Butt

When Bertha Butt did her goodie

She started the Bertha Butt Boogie

I said no question

Bum bum bumadum..

Hey Leroy, get away from that woman

That boy'll never learn

Uh oh, here comes the troglodyte

Come here, sock it to me

Bertha stood back and yelled

Betty, Bella, Bathsheba

And the Butt sisters backed her up

When she yelled, I need you

The troglodyte, Leroy, Luther

And the Butt sisters all knew

That the Bertha Butt Boogie

Was now the thing to do

When Bertha Butt did her goodie

She started the Bertha Butt Boogie

No question

Bum bum bumadum...

I'll sock it to you, daddy

Me like, me like

Come here, woman, woman

Come on

I'm calling you ma'am

Yeah, the boogie

I can understand that. Some days I feel so frustrated over the helpless feeling.

The man does all manner of wrong and congress sits mum.

The best they can come up with is forwarding job applications as a smart azz gag. That helps HOW?

Our president and his wife truly act like King and Queen. Some days I can’t laugh about it and feel angry or broken-hearted over what has become of our country.

Other days when I am able to laugh, I am grateful. It is a reprieve from suffering the frustration of living under this awful administration.

They say it always comes ‘round on the guItar. ;)

It’s OK, we may not be able to buy gas for ourselves, but we can buy fuel for Dear Leader— to jet around on AF1, have date nights and all that fabulous stuff.

“Bring back Bill Clinton. At least that guy can play the Sax!”

Sure he does! He plays sax like Barry throws a ball.

Well, Buddy has always been a mainstream blues artist, like Robert Cray. Too commercial.

Besides, the blues is practically dead. Beale St. is decimated. Hip Hop and Rap have kept the younger generation from taking up the blues.

There is only one radio station left in Memphis that plays blues. And they call it R&B and Soul.

Yup, Barrymore throws like a sissy. And not at all harsh, fact: Bill plays sax like a fat band geek.
But he and Barry put on dark glasses and the Dums cheer & eat that s*** with a spoon, and ask for more.

The last time I was on Beale St...about 15-20 years ago...it was still JUMPING with the Blues. I saw at least 2 bands per night for 3 nights in a row, all in different venues. All were excellent.

Ate and drank like a pig too.

Stayed at the Drake. Best vacation ever.
