That one’s not factually correct, my friend. It was Dole who blinked and pulled the rug from under the House— had it been up to Newt and the Class of 94, they would have stayed the course and beaten Clinton.

Dole and Gingrich had a fight during Reagans Presidency over taxes. Dole wanted to have an option to raise them and Gingrich nixed it. Dole hates Gingrich. Always has. That’s why Dole shot him down over the shutdown.
