I’m doubtful that he was trying to “light up” the e-cig, as in “light on fire.” It is more likely that the red light iluminated at the end of it, therefore the e-cig “lit up.” Although, the reporting is horrible so it is difficult to say for certain. Between the horrendous reporting by the airline personnel and hte horrendous journalism these days, I am not surprised that we will never know the truth.
Knowing how sheeple behave, I will default that this is most likely some braying at the red light that illuminates on the end of the e-cig.
