Newt Gingrich took debate moderator John King to task for asking the candidates about contraception.

Gingrich said King and the rest of the "elite media" did not bother to ask the 2008 Democratic candidates about "infanticide."

Newt was a master tonight. He went straight after Obama which is exactly what I want out of a presidential candidate.

This line of questioning should be the norm, not the exception. Put the interviewer on the defensive. Make them think twice before persuing a tangential issue.

Thanks for posting as I could not see the debate.

Newt knows when to pounce.

He looked much more at ease now that Santorum is taking most of the incoming from Mitt and Mitt’s lil buddy from Mars.

Just like the Marxist John King to twist the “Freedom of Conscience” to the right to have contraception. There is NO call for any denial of contraception rights so WHY would they bring that up....

Government should NOT be in the business of medicine or death panels....it is all unconstitutional. We need to get government out of practicing medicine and education so we don’t have such idiots as John King. We need people who can think and reason.

We need to get back to the fundamental meaning of the Constitution and kick out Judges who do not do what their oaths demand them to do.

Good job, Newt. Keep it up. This unending microscopic scrutiny that anyone with an “R” after their names gets, while the Anointed Liar in the White Hut gets a free pass 24/7, is absolutely sickening and has to stop.

Infanticide is certainly an issue that we need to use to keep Obama's feet to the fire!

What a disgusting piece of work!

I really, REALLY want Newt Gingrich to be the Republican candidate this fall.

But more than that, I want BHO2 out of the White House. He is truly evil.

I do not believe that Santorum or Romney are evil, and though I do not consider either as capable of being President as Newt Gingrich, replacing that awful Marxist-Leninist presently in the White House is more important than any one person. Let the American people decide who will be President this coming fall.

Go Newt!

With admirable efficiency, he hit the media and Obama simultaneously.
I hope he continues to use that line of attack. Most people haven’t a clue just how bad Obama is on the issue of life.

When Newt pounced on that question, I thought, there he said it for all, there isn’t any reason for the others to even comment on it. Then Romney had to have his say and drew Santorum into the mix. Newt, the smart one, just sat back and let them destroy themselves.

Newt should really gain after tonight's debate. Very presidential with a can and will do attitude. With Santormum's implosion, I hope his backers will go to Newt. If Paul and Santotum's people can rally around Newt now. . . Romney can be defeated.

I really, REALLY want Newt Gingrich to be the Republican candidate this fall.

I also want Newt to be the Republican candidate.

He has baggage, but biblically, we could have some writing in the sand and ALL of the candidates wouldn't be able to measure up, or the voters, for that matter.

I am all for a person that has learned from their past and goes forward with truth and conviction.

It's a media spin that women wouldn't vote for a man that has had prior affairs. Women tend to be very forgiving of a repentent man.

Newt was awesome. If there was a debate every week he would win. Obama would crap himself debating Newt.
