Ex-Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick is whining about an order from Texas parole officials that he find a job....(SNIP)
The newspaper reports that in an email to a Texas parole official, Kilpatrick is unhappy that the state has told him he can't make some public appearances and out-of-state trips, hurting his ability to earn money.
"I'm incredibly confused about why I'm being treated differently than ANYONE else," wrote Kilpatrick, who lives in Grand Prairie.
Kilpatrick was released from prison after serving a year on a charge of obstruction of justice but faces a federal corruption probe for what the government describes as a pay-to-play scheme.
Kilpatrick first moved to Southlake, then, after his release from prison, to a home he rents in Grand Prairie.

how long did it take for him to come to the realization that he couldn’t afford Southlake?
What part of “parolee” does he not understand?

Kilpatrick-Berry. The perfect parolee presidential ticket for 2012.
Not a problem !!
Revoke his parole and simply have the ungrateful criminal finish his complete sentence.
And he is an “incredibly confused” parolee. The little s*** can go find a job where he lives. If he is out and about he will be screwing broads and scamming old people. What a lard butt.

Within a couple of weeks, Kilpatrick was hired by Covisint, a Texas subsidiary of Compuware, headquartered in Detroit. The CEO of Compuware, Peter Karmanos, Jr. was one of the parties who loaned large sums of money to Kilpatrick in late 2008. He was let go from Compuware in May 2010 after being sentenced to prison.
His house in S Grand Prairie is paid by whom, and for what favors?
Agreed! I don’t even know why this was an issue past the first parole violation. Simply go back and serve out your sentence. They were doing you a favor, Swami. BTW, Christine Beattie is paying her restitution back at around $500.00/month to his hundred and change/month.
“how long did it take for him to come to the realization that he couldnt afford Southlake?”
I’m thinking he probably realized that a lot of people would question his source of money that enabled him to live in Southlake and so he moved out. And, I’m thinking that the fed’s should be investigating this as there’s probably a nice stash of stolen federal funds hid away somewhere.....
