Oh, and great news about your BIL. Stupid, damn cancer. Hope he’s able to eat really well and keep his system firing up.
Last night BIL really chowed down on my latest culinary adventure. A pork butt and chuck rroast slow cooked with a home brew kinda bbq sauce of crushed tomatoes, mushrooms, brown sugar and some spices served as pulled meat on honey buns. The large oval crockpot was filled and there’s hardly any left this morning.
Today I’m using the leftover stock to make a spicey beef noodle soup. Probably no one else will like it but it’s a treat for me especially with sauteed onion grilled cheese sandwiches as a side.
Sometime soon I hope to make tomato, basil chicken casserole which is a Betty’s Kitchen YouTube recipe that looks good, but probably fattening, LOL! But even with all the cooking and eating I’ve been doing I’m down to 217 which is about ten pounds lost in a couple of weeks!
