In 1987, Jeff Barry teamed up with two old Brill Building colleagues to write a masterpiece. Thus he joined Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil for one last song.

Jeffrey Osborne & Joyce Kennedy: “The Last Time I Made Love”

In 1991, Jeff Barry and Ellie Greenwich were inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. During the mid-Nineties, Jeff served as president of the National Academy of Songwriters, and in 1998 he was a recipient of their Lifetime Achievement Award.

He’s still active today. Regrettably, Ellie Greenwich died of a heart attack in 2009 at age 69. But their music lives on.
