Jesus did have a strategy of rendering unto Ceasar what is Ceasar’s and paying his damn meaningless taxes that would bring him to meaninglessness unless he respected God. Tending the other cheek means to not resist evil because then good looks expensive, painful and bad, but to show that it is EVIL which is waging a taboo on good, instead of good to be trapped into waging an expensive taboo on a parasitic evil.
