Two Americans who were shot dead Saturday inside the Interior Ministry in Afghanistan's capital Kabul are believed to be a colonel and a major in the U.S. military, Afghan security sources told Reuters.
A spokeswoman for NATO's International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) confirmed two of their servicemen had been shot dead in central Kabul by an individual who turned his weapon on them. She declined to say if the killer was a member of the Afghan military or police.

And yet, our warriors face courts martial for killing folks in a hostile hot zone. The insanity continues.
I’d love to hear a very solemn announcement made to those people along the lines of: “Ok. We are leaving. Cheer for now. But know this-If harm comes to the United States, and you are harboring or helping the perpetrators of said harm, we WILL be back. Not our soldiers, but our nukes.”
We can always tattoo a cartoon of Mohammad humping a goat on his forehead and send him to his muslim country of choice.
This is so sad. It makes me very angry. I don’t know why the USA, from Dessert Storm forward (and back to Vietnam too) doesn’t just go in and blow the country to smithereens and then get to heck out. I didn’t like it when either side has done this. Get the job done and get OUT. Like Newt says, we beat all the regimes of WWII in 3 years and 44 months. How long has Iraq and Afghanistan been going on? Should have been over with in less than 90 days each.
I have very strong, positive feelings about the European town my grandparents immigrated from. In fact, I'm quite emotional about it.
Do I have the right to kill anyone who insults that town? Do I have the right to kill anyone who burns a picture of that town?
Must Obama apologize if some American, accidentally or on purpose, says something bad about that town?
The entire world must stand up to the radicals: your hurt feelings do not trump the right of others to think and act freely.

Folks, you better get real. POTUS Obama has handed the Middle East, North Africa, Pakistan & Afghanistan over to the enemies of the United States of America by design. And....if you think the Bin Laden execution was not done in concert with the leaders and military of Pakistan, you are a blooming fool. Why? Bin Laden no longer served a useful purpose for the Pakistan govenrment who was protecting him, and....Obama needed the wipeout to help him politcally. I mean, come on, do you really think the raid that killed Bin Laden could have been pulled off without the aid and comfort of the army & government of Pakistan?
Obama and his Democrat, liberal, left wing ilk have place our nation in harm’s way purposely. You figure it out, I already have it wired. Two names to move forward for the USA, Santorum or Gengrich. Romney, no way!!! Voters in Michigan & Arizona, wise up, Romney is not the one. Why? Weak, just like John McCain!!!
Bleeding ourselves white over there isn't helping us here, especially with a president who is turning terrorists out of our prisons daily.
We need to do what many of us thought we should've done out the outset, instead of attempting to reform a country that can never be reformed. Tell Karzai that if we trace a single bombing back to his country he'd better evacuate Kabul immediately because we're about to make his capitol look exactly like the rest of that God forsaken sh#t hole, and from 30,000 feet.

If we would simply develop our own oil and gas reserves in America there would be little need to be involved in these God-cursed countries.
Our military needs to develop some new recruiting slogans to reflect the changes made during the Obama era. For example, ‘’Join the Army and DIE! Either the enemy will kill you or our president’s abject apologies will!’’
They stand out like sore thumbs here. They start that crap here there will be a lot of gas stations ,7-11’s and motels looking for new owners.
Reminds me of a scene in a movie I saw as a kid - early sixties, I guess. A group of men are in a truck which breaks down in the Sahara, and they can only restore second gear. So they go grinding along and come to a pipeline which they know is near a city, but they don't know which way. One guy says "this way". An arab in their group disagrees, and asks him if he is willing to stake their lives on it. He replies, "Are you?" and the arab says "Yes, I am" so they go that way, which of course turns out to be right.
Can anybody ID this movie? It was more or less a B movie, I think, but it was in color and had decent production values. All I remember is this scene.
