The U.S. commander of coalition forces in Afghanistan pulled scores of advisers from Afghan ministries after two high-ranking American military officers were gunned down Saturday at the nation's Interior Ministry headquarters.
U.S. Marine Gen. John Allen ordered the unprecedented move after an American colonel and major were both found shot in the head at the busy Interior Ministry compound that is the nerve center for the Afghan law enforcement, according to one Western official in Kabul.
"We are investigating the crime and we will pursue all leads to find the person responsible for this attack," Gen. Allen said in a statement. "The perpetrator of this attack is a coward whose actions will not go unanswered."
Afghan and American officials shut down the ministry compound in central Kabul as they launched an investigation into the killings in one of the most heavily guarded parts of the capital.
Top U.S. military officials said they were still trying to determine the identity of the attacker. But one Western official in Kabul said that the two Americans were shot by an Afghan police official who was upset about the burning of Qurans earlier this week at a U.S. military base.

American officials have tried to contain Afghan outrage by issuing repeated apologies and launching a swift investigation into the incident.
U.S. President Barack Obama apologized to Afghan President Hamid Karzai in a personal letter.

6 female desk jockeys from our local guard unit just went over there. In an interview before she left, one of them spoke about it as some kind of adventure she could write about later.
The reason the females went was to go out on patrols with combat troops so they could put a female face on the military going into the remote villages.
Globalization is a failure. Not only fundamentaly because you cannot bus me with these people and expect any good out of it, and in general because the process is designed and infiltrated by the enemies we help and betray us. IT is obvious we are the inferiorized party is this process. We cannot even hand over Bibles in the fraking country of theirs. This is utter hypocrisy, and, yet, we are forced, when their books are in our custody, OUR CUSTODY, to do as they tell us to do, like servants.

President Obama will apologize for us making these thugs “feel” like they needed to murder two U.S. military officers. IMPEACH OBAMA and PUT HIM ON TRIAL FOR TREASON!
This is just one of many points of chaos challenging our in inept government. The world is spiraling down the drain. I read where Nelson Mandela is in the hospital. Think of him what you will but he is all that keeps South Africa from nationalizing the mines, seizing the white owned farms and businesses, and basically driving out or killing the whites. Zimbabwe here they come. When you look at Somalia, Nigeria, Uganda and the Congo, not to mention the Arab countries, there is little hopeful in an entire continent.
Southern Asia and the Middle East have no stability with hard core Islamists poised to dominate the region. South and Central America is seeing the steady rise of Marxism. Mexico is a narco state. North Korea issues new threats every day.
Yet we are intent on returning the worst president we have ever been cursed with. His BLT rivals the worst world view and is comparable to South Africa’s ANC.
Oh well, the Oscars are on tomorrow, what will Angelena wear on the red carpet.

The reason female soldiers go out with the combat patrols is to search and secure the women and children while the men are being rounded up and questioned
The women have proven able to establish enough rapport that sometimes they gain intelligence from the women about what the men are planning or hiding

Pull our guys out. Bring them home and turn them loose. That should work real well. High unemployment, inflation, over burdened regulations and laws designed to make anything you do illegal (from lemonade stands to home businesses). Worked real well for the Romans when that happened.
My only joy will be when the dems/libs and quislings are going to reap what they've sown. I'll have the popcorn out and lawn chair under the shade for the blood bath.

I know about operation lioness and agree its a good idea but I think its foolish to take these reservists who are paper pushers from a transportation unit and dropping them into an increasingly volatile situation.
