Gonna post and run tonight folks....

Intro to the Shooting Sports - This Week on Gun Talk Radio

Mandeville, LA – It’s an outdoor program for kids in Pennsylvania, and a program that introduces new individuals to shooting sports, this week on Tom Gresham's Gun Talk (R) Radio, the original nationally-syndicated radio talk show about guns and the shooting sports.

Located in Allentown, PA, Camp Compass Academy (http://www.campcompass.org/) introduces urban middle & high school students to various outdoor activities, including shooting, fishing, hunting and archery, along with tutoring and social guidance. Founder John Annoni stops by this Sunday to discuss the successful non-profit academy he’s been hosting for more than 17 years, along with his newest venture, 2 Million Bullets. Find out more at http://www.twomillionbullets.org/. Watch his video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MqyisjPEVlc&feature=youtu.be

Tisma Juett, Manager of NSSF’s First Shots program, drops in with info on the program that has “helped ranges across the country introduce thousands of individuals to shooting and firearm safety”. Developed by the National Shooting Sports Foundation, the First Shots program is open to all ages, and hosted by local shooting facilities. On March 3rd, residents of Miami and Sacramento will fill First Shots seminars as NSSF continues their national tour in big cities. Find out more at http://www.nssf.org/FirstShots/.

Got a call from the NRA yesterday. The UN Global Ban on weapons has reached a final draft and is scheduled for a vote in July. Please put out the word and get people calling.

I believe that this constitutes a high crime and misdemeanor by the President and Secretary of State, as it violates not only our Second Amendment rights but their Oath of Office.

I would never shoot someone unless I absolutely, positively had no other choice....

You can quote me on that.

Lifetime. Whatever that means. It’s really pretty tough though. I’ll give you a range report if I ever get out there again.

I have an Armalite with a polymer lower. So far, no problems.
It makes for a nice lightweight rifle.

Does it use the longer trigger and hammer pins, like the CavArms polymer lowers did? I like the carbine stock - the full-sized buttstock was my biggest gripe with the CavArms lowers.

I don’t think they’re longer, but the entire fire control group is polymer. Even the take down pins are polymer. I’m not real wild about that, but for 99 bucks it’s worth a shot at having a lightweight rifle.

Would you consider referencing this on the Gun Talk Thread?

I think it’s important.

Your mileage may vary.
