And if Romney had said that, Chris should have replied: “So how long have you been into Michelle Obama’s underwear?”

EWWWW

Romney should skip interviews with Wallace, who clearly has a personal animus towards him... or else, he feels it his duty to try to shoot down the frontrunner.

That would be a perfect comeback for almost any other candidate. But if Romney had said something like that, he would have looked like Mr. pasty white bread in vicious attack mode. You would have the permanent gimme class howling, Reverends Al and Jesse hitting the streets, Occupy dumping loads on everything in sight.

Romney is exactly what the dems have been hoping to run against. Their poster boy for the republican party, he is the meme they have been gearing up to face since Obama got into office — rich, lily white, and completely out of touch with America.

FOX"News"'s Romney-Pimp and Anchor-Wife-in-Training:
We at FOX think Mitt Romney has the perfect height.
And his feet are the perfect shape.
And his hair is perfect, too.
I think he smells so good, that I tingle.
So what does it matter how he voted?

While I don’t personally support Romney, there is no rational reason ANY Republican contender should be talking to him on-air. The man is a Democrat, pure and simple.

To which Romney replied: I think maybe some people, those of the lower classes, might think that, but my "Good Old Fellow" NASCAR team-owner friends will tell you otherwise...

Romney: His Rolex stopped ticking

Yes, and you left out the fact that this happened on the SAME day that his limousine had a flat tire on the way to the opera. It took a whole HOUR for his chauffeur to change the tire and he missed the ENTIRE 1st Act.

So don't tell ME he doesn't know suffering...

I admire Santorum for unabashedly standing up for social values. It takes big huevos to put up with the ridcule that dismayingly comes with advocating ideals that were a way of life earlier in my lifetime. I get why folks are happy to hear him speak up so strongly.

I am also surprised to see Romney get treated here the way I've been seeing. Look at this article. What some call a "lack of discipline" looks to me like he's just saying what comes to mind -he's not filtering his response to assuage the insecurities of the less successful...he's just speaking from his experience. He knows some NASCAR team owners. That is not a surprise to me. It's something I'd expect.. Why should he stifle that? I am pretty shocked to see some people on this forum responding to his success in a way I'd expect to see at DU! I don't require a president to see the world as the "everyman" would. I want to see someone who has done better than "average". Why should he pretend about his life? He has done well in the way and large scale that will be required of our next Chief Executive in these effed-up times. Right now we have a guy who was a "community organizer" of the envious. Myself, I am not inspired by that.

Krauthammer said the same thing last night....called it a lack of discipline. The same with Santorum saying JFK’s speech made him throw up. It’s in the self-inflicted wound category.

With Romney, though, it doesn’t matter to me. I’m not voting for him anyway. Obama, though, will eat his lunch with this stuff.
