Keep in mind that even if McCain got those states, Obama would still have won the electoral vote.
Sure, his aides actually advocated challenging the election on election night, and we are supposed to believe that Palin was the idiot and not the aides? The aides would have been better off challenging Obama’s citizenship.
But......if voter fraud were proved, it would have opened up the entire election to scrutiny. We already know Texas was thrown. Things could have been very different. I no longer wish to hear one word about McCain’s heroism. He canceled that with his bonehead concession.
Take out the fraud votes and McCain won and with McCain not eligible Palin would be president right now.
Yes, but then what would have happened when it came out that the President or President elect had been guilty of election tampering? I'd imagine other states results would have been investigated too, and remember it's a crime even if the perp would have won without the tampering. Maybe he'd have been impeached, after all who would vote for "not proven" in such a case? Assuming they wanted to run again themselves.
