Not all statists are Democrats.
Romneycare-Obamacare.
For example.
There’s some sifting and winnowing that needs doing.
When you say unite, many use that to tell Newt Gingrich to leave the race.
Back when he was leading, and won a smashing victory in SC, only Rick Perry heeded that sentiment in terms of his own campaign.
Now that Newt isn’t the candidate he once was, people expect him to leave, leaving only Romney and Santorum. I don’t count Paul, although he is collecting delegates.
That would be wrong. We need Newt Gingrich. Listen to him, watch him, read his stuff. The other two don’t come close.

“It’s well known now that Mitt Romney won Michigan with 41 percent, followed by Rick Santorum with 38, Ron Paul with 12 and Newt Gingrich with 6.5.
But what of the other 3 percent? Well, it was quite a horse race............
Rick Perry 1,906
Buddy Roemer 1,874
Michele Bachmann 1,766
Jon Huntsman 1,712
Herman Cain 1,237
Gary Johnson 519
Given a choice of voting for any of those three for POTUS, I will have to go 3rdParty or write-in.
