Unfortunately, I could not get the post to enlarge so as to see if it really was canned possum. And my magnifying glass shows garbled writing.
As a youngster I often went with my grandfather and the dogs hunting possums at night (and was later dubbed “Possum”). After many requests my grandmother baked a possum for my grandfather and me. It was awful tasting. Just horrible.
If it really is possum in that can, I wonder how they made it palatable.
