Crediting Clinton for the reforms of the Congress led by Newt Gingrich is sort of like crediting Gorbachev for the reforms imposed by the Reagan administration.

I’d give Clinton some credit. (Yeah, I am fond of the guy, I admit - he was an amazing ally to the UK, with longstanding ties and a firm understanding of our rather baffling culture. His wife, on the other hand scares the pants off me!)

I was digging around and found a segment where both Pres. Clinton and Speaker Gingrich were both interviewed (seperate segments) on the same show (it was in December). Their respect for and liking for each other was obvious. Will try to find the link again if you like, I forgot to save it to bookmarks.

If you find your link, it would be kind of fun.

I've always felt than Gingrich and Clinton had a lot more in common that their lack of schlong control. Clinton, though, was far, far worse, IMHO.

It is a testament to the power of the enemedia that Clinton can remain so popular with women and Gingrich can have such high negatives when Bill was clearly the bigger pig of the two. I don't even recall any allegations that Newt ever raped anyone. Do you?
