I don’t think that (corroboration) is the issue. I’m just saying that Rush called her names, sullied her reputation.
Yes, she appeared in a public forum and thus exposed herself to....whatever. I don’t know the legal particulars and I didn’t even sleep at a Holiday last night.
My only real point is: It wouldn’t surprise me to have some leftist group launch a slander lawsuit against Rush as a move to discredit him. Would it hurt him, financially? No. WOuld it hurt his audience? No.
What it *might* do is provide an opportunity to create among the brain dead libs yet another bumper sticker slogan “Limbaugh wants to outlaw sex! He shoulda started with his parents”.
Sorry, I am enmeshed in a lawsuit at present and every stupid jerked-off phrase the other side throws, I have to spend $1500. paying my lawyer to fend off. And $150 on the phone telling her what to say. And $45 for her telling her paralegal to take down these notes. And $90 for the paralegal to actually take down those notes. And $45 for the paralegal to say back to her “OK, I took down those notes you told me to take down.”
Lawsuits are for losers. Even when you’re right.
