The very fact that he run's as a "black" man...proves the old Hawaiian surfer / local thing.
Didn't matter much if you were white and could surf better than the local "brown skinned" "bro's"....unless you just shredded way better!! Even then..it was very hard to be accepted.
It was all about color!! Period. Half brown, half black...didn't matter..you were in, over the white guy.
If you look at a picture of him next to, say, a picture of Bin Laden he really isn’t any darker and maybe lighter. Since we really are not sure of anything about him including who his father really is we cannot say for sure what nationality he is. Many people around the world are dark and even very dark without being African. There are people out there who are convinced that the black thing with him is as fake as the rest of him.
