Mitt Romney, facing money challenges, aggressively seeks donations

BEXLEY, Ohio — Mitt Romney, eager to capitalize on his primary-election victories this week, is aggressively pushing for new donations to offset his presidential campaign’s heavy spending and is erecting battle stations in upcoming Super Tuesday states.

Amid a nominating season that has seen little momentum from race to race, Romney is now trying to build some. His advisers argue that he is finally gaining a meaningful lead, and other Republicans say his triumphs in Michigan and Arizona on Tuesday should quell talk of a late-entering candidate in the race.

Obama campaign accuses Koch brothers-funded conservative group Americans for Prosperity of faking its grassroots support.

“Governor Romney is on track to win the GOP nomination, and it is getting harder to see a path to the nomination for any of his rivals,” Romney campaign pollster Neil Newhouse wrote in a memorandum to reporters Wednesday.

Gee I wonder if he will raffle himself and his wife off for lunch for $1.00 like the Obamas did. I guess that means Obama is having a hard time raising money too!

Apparently not a fiscal conservative when it comes to campaigning.

Pray for America

Well, can't offer any financial support after he tried to intentionally destroy Newt Gingrich (just to win), though, I can offer some free advise. Mitt, can you take one for the team?!

Paul is presently sucking votes over on the Dem side, draining Obama’s supply.

While Newt quietly smiles as he is handed more moolah by Adelson. :) I’m smiling too.

Get him Newt!

“So the master of business who would become the budgeter in chief of the US can’t foresee that if he keeps spending money like crazy, he’ll run out. But he’s still the front runner by most estimates. I think we’re in a LOT of trouble.”

He’s counting on winning so the RNC will then throw its significant dollars behind him.

And yes, I agree with your last statement. Romney is such a loser for the general that it’s breathtaking how none of the “experts” and pundits can see it. As I’ve said before, when he loses to BHO (should we be cursed with him as nominee), they’ll all blame it on a million other things, not the least of which is that this “vicious, drawn-out primary” has diverted and damaged Mittens while only helping BHO. So they’ll blame the process and us pesky “right-wingers”.

Mitt has millions of his own money, so maybe he will just forward himself a loan?

Don’t know if you saw this this morning by Thomas Sowell?

“Mitt Romney is the kind of candidate that the Republican establishment has always looked for, a moderate who can appeal to independents. It doesn’t matter how many such candidates have turned out to be disasters on election night, going all the way back to Thomas E. Dewey in 1948.”

“RNC called me today, hung up in their face.”

Yep, I’ve done the same thing three times now, telling them I was supporting the Tea Party and individual candidates instead.

Fortunately, I don’t think he’ll be the nominee. Things are looking very good for us “right wingers” (otherwise known as “sane people”).

Us grassroots righties, 130,000 of us sprung for close to $10 mil for Rick’s camp in February blowing away all other candidates.

So they’ll blame the process and us pesky “right-wingers”.

In the IT world, a project that is doomed to fail is often referred to as a Death March. Assigning blame is one of the (more or less) official parts of the life cycle. The target of the blame is quite likely to be the first person who dared to say, "Hey! This project looks like a Death March!"

And if, somehow, total failure is avoided, blame is still assigned to the negative thinker who almost derailed the trip to Bataan. Great Leaders (and believe me, they know who they are, even if the rest of us don't) hate those negative thinkers, especially when they're right.

Funny, huh?

Yeah, that’s why he has attacked Newt and Rick continually and has never once attacked Romney. That is why all of his commercials attack Newt and Rick and never attack Romney, his Paulbots are being played.

Pray for America
