In a development that could chill the dedication of every soldier in the field, the U.S. government has refused to deny reports by the government of Afghanistan that NATO has agreed to have the soldiers who burned copies of the Quran face trial.
Last week, Afghan president Hamid Karzai demanded NATO turn over the U.S. troops to be tried in Afghanistan. President Obama subsequently sent a letter to Karzai reassuring him that the troops involved would be punished for their actions.
Part of the three-page letter to Karzai said, “I extend to you and the Afghan people my sincere apologies. We will take the appropriate steps to avoid any recurrence, to include holding accountable those responsible.”

My wife works with a woman whose son completed Basic Training for the Army, and was sent home because they didn’t have any assignments they could give him.

They had best not face “trial” for disposing of the Muzzie death manual. Any brass who feeds Obama’s Islamic beast should be tried for treason. We are at war with Obama’s beast and military personnel should be able to stand up to that on behalf of our soldiers.

Is this why nothing out of obumbler yet? There’s no way he lets our people go to trial and gets re elected.

I said this before. If this is even remotely true, it is time for MUTINY. Nothing less will suffice.
Well, having the military investigate what happened and punishing if it warrants, is different from having some kind of trial in Afghanistan.
A real American would pound them into the sand, and their Korans with them, then bury them in pig's blood and dog droppings.
