Newt: Fire Steven Chu over gas price remarks (Obama blasts Newt ideas in NH speech)
Politico ^ | March 1, 2012 | Bob King

Newt Gingrich on Thursday called on President Barack Obama to fire Energy Secretary Steven Chu, citing congressional testimony this week in which Chu said his “overall goal” was to decrease U.S. dependency on oil, not lower the price.

“President Obama must announce today in his Nashua address that he is firing Secretary Chu and replacing him with a pro-American-energy appointment,” said a statement from Gingrich, who cited a POLITICO story about Chu’s appearance before a House Appropriations subcommittee.

???

Obama agrees with those remarks.

Obama said part of his plan is making energy prices “skyrocket” and he told Bill Gates he wants an energy consumption tax, making the prices higher.

First, you must consider the mandate Obama gave him:
1-Destroy carbon based energy resources for the U.S.
2-Destroy nuclear energy resources for the U.S.
3-Destroy hydroelectric energy resources for the U.S.
4-Promote the lie that “renewable energy” has the potential to meet America’s energy needs.
5-Provide contracts and grants to my supporters in the “renewable energy” business, in spite of business models showing failure as the only possible outcome.

Against those criteria, he HAS earned an A-!!

Why, Newt?

He’s fulfilling a campaign pledge by the Prez, to make energy rates skyrocket. It’s not like he’s lying. They are ‘nudging’ us to live like the USSR, packed into hi-rise grey cement block apartment buildings where the hot water is shut off from April until November.

I thought you liked the idea. That was certainly the impression I got when you were making out with Nancy on the couch.

God save us from the republicans. They truly are the stupid party.

“If he doesn’t, then the American people will know the president is still committed to his radical ideology, which wants to artificially raise the cost of energy,” Gingrich added.

Please don’t take this personal, but why do you believe Newt will lower energy prices? I don’t. I don’t trust him since his make-out session with Nancy and his global warming BS. He fancies himself an intellectual, which to me means he has put himself in the same mental straightjacket as the pasty, thin-lipped, bow-tie wearing, horn-rimmed, tweed encrusted social retards who all flooded out of Harvard and landed in our nation’s capital three years ago like some Ivy-League jailbreak from hell. He believes what they believe, because that is the fashion and he wants to get invitied to the good cocktail parties too.

This idea that he is somehow ‘apart’ from Obeyme and the current crop of congresscritters mystifies me. He is of a kind with them, every bit as much of an insider. He hasn’t had a really original or ‘maverick’ thought since 1994.

Before I get called a ‘Romneybot’, let it be known that I don’t like any of them. I think Paul is nuts, Santorum is lame and Romney is tool. However, any of them is - not necessarily better, but less bad than Obeyme.

Lord preserve us that this is the best we can do.

Newt is already debating Obama - and winning the debate.

This is what the general election will look like, only times ten, if Newt is the nominee.

Newt is so obviously the right person to take it to the Zero.

Newt is the only candidate who is attacking obimbo every day, instead of the other republican candidates. He is on him immediately, the others say nothing, or say something 5 days later.

GO NEWT!!

Chu is one of these flakes who thinks the way to get switched over to alternative energies that don’t exist is to stop using energy that does exist. If mankind had thought like that from the beginning, we would have died out before wheeled carts came along.

It’s easy to get $2.50/gal or even lower.

WE JUST PRODUCE ENOUGH OIL HERE FOR OUR OWN CONSUMPTION.

And Saudi and Iran will beg us to buy their crude oil for $30/barrel instead of current >$100/barrel.

When they lower their price, we start buying from them again but we will use our domestic potential as bargaining leverage.

Oh, Osbama is committed alright, to destroying America as fast as his little mind can do it in the short time he has left. He is shortly going to be committed to the history books as the first Mulotto prez., can't come quick enough for America.

OBAMA is running against NEWT GINGRICH. NEWT is going to crush him on all energy avenues. ENERGY equals JOBS, the ECONOMY.

Zero is scared Chitless about the potentiality of running against NEWT.

Newt should have an “anonymous” source tell the Obama administration that Steven Chu once worked with the Heritage Foundation on energy policy. Obama would throw him under the bus, doing our work for us.

I know that is a way to lower the prices - increasing domestic supply.

I'm saying I don't think Newt really has the will. I never have, and never will, forgive and forget that couch session between him and Nancy Pelosi.

"Worst mistake of my life... I really regret it..." blah, blah, blas, BS!

Plus, I think he's a lizard who never has been able to keep little Newt in his trousers. That plasticine fembot who's twenty years younger than him that he's married to now will get kicked to the curb the first time some future Monica comes along. He's a LOT like William Jefferson Blythe Clintoon in that regard.
