GM Channel Stuffing Soars To All Time High (Bogus Obama Manufacturing Output Numbers!)

Did channel stuffing expert AOL quietly merge with a Government Motors without anyone's knowledge? Because making record amounts of cars only to have them amortize rapidly in showrooms must be some New Normal definition of a recovery. .

Gotta boost those Obama Economic Production numbers for election propaganda, doncha know. What good is GOVERNMENT owning a car company if it can't use it for propaganda?

And with GMAC/ALLY buying 450 Credit Score Credit Criminals on all of these new cars, WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG? And besides, who cares, it's just taxpayer money, anyway. It's not like Obama has any of his own money in this game.

What is 10's of billions of dollars in wasted tax money, compared to the continued glory of THE MESSIAH OBAMA?

How much further back can you go with this chart? And what about adjusting it for the number of dealerships? After all, didn’t they close a lot of them a few years ago?

Is this another spreading the wealth scheme? If the dealerships we parceled out through a quota system isn’t this just another way to reward campaign donors and favored vendors?

If so, this whole administration deserves jail time.

Do cars sent to the dealers for sale get counted on the books at GM as revenue?

I don’t know the industry...

How about a TRUTH SQUAD on OUR SIDE for a change?

Better yet, how about a REAL Truth Squad — impartial and inquisitive yet accurate and unyielding?

We used to call people who did that noble job JOURNALISTS but now those former worthies have all become Obama Whores and can no longer be trusted. Sad.

“We used to call people who did that noble job JOURNALISTS but now those former worthies have all become Obama Whores and can no longer be trusted.”

Take a look at what has happened in American Media over the last decade or so.

As radical gays have taken over more and more media outlets (WELL documented by/on FR over the years), the more reporters who have fired, removed, and blacklisted for not towing the Democrat/Radical Socialist approved line.

Would YOU want to be a “Journalist” looking for work in the Obama Economy, after being blacklisted by the gay mafia?

Brought my FIL’s van in to the service department of the local Chevy dealer recently. Not only was the sales lot devoid of humans but I got right in to the service department ON A SATURDAY. There was no other car in front of me and nobody else came in while I was dropping it off. That has never been the case in the 26 years I have been going there, not even on a week day.

The place was a ghost town.

While I don't know for sure about the auto industry, in other fields, manufacturers count deliveries to the sales channel as sales (hence the term "channel stuffing") as soon as the delivery is made. If the unit gets delivered in January, it's scored as January sales revenue for the manufacturer, no matter how long a time lapses until it's actually sold to a retail customer.

I told my husband that something was wrong with GM profits.
Who has the money to buy new cars now? I do not see things
better anywhere/sector of the economy around me. I still
see friends loosing long time jobs, friends still out of
work, and lots of empty houses.

Psst - the channel stuffing was used to justify $500 MILLION in “bonuses”
