They’ve more than likely heard nothing but how they’ve been oppressed all their lives.

We have an entire nation of “Reverend” Wrights out there preaching Hate Whitey, Blame Whitey. Sooner or later this was bound to happen.
If the victim was black and his assailants white, it would be front page news. Don’t expect this to get much coverage.
The most important thing is to hope for the victim’s fast and full recovery.
Sounds like attempted murder to me.Committed by 16 year olds that can easily be tried as adults.Give them 30 years for attempted murder,etc....but “hate crimes” are BS.I’d never vote guilty on any hate crime charge.
If, from Day One, the 16-yr olds are pumped full of racist hatred, 24/7, and raised without any parental restraint, it is almost bound to happen.
It is important to understand this. Crimes like this are going to be an increasing part of our life -- until something is done to reverse the course of our culture.
Duh, black on white crime is, by definition, NOT a hate crime. Whites are evil and deserve what they get. Damn evil oppressors.

Until we can get hate crime law off the books, apply it equally to everyone. So that blacks and other minorities don’t get special treatment.
Once hate crime law (which is bad law) can finally be done away with, then let it never come back. Until then we can’t let minorities skate by with lesser sentences for specifically targeting whites to attack.
Oh, its not that hard to understand. Its the natural result of 60 years of conditioning. 60 years to convince one large group of people that another large group of people intentionally oppresses them and is entirely responsible for any discomfort or suffering they've ever experienced.

This can’t be a hate crime. The victim is White and male.
The young man managed to pull off his shirt and get the fire put out. He has first-degree burns to his face. His eyelashes, eyebrow and some of his hair was singed. He has been released from the hospital and is at home.
It’s time for my tried and true punishment. Fool proof, works everytime.

I don't doubt that the HuffPo reported that, but when's the last time you heard of white-on-black random crime? It's extremely unintuitive.
Reminds me of when I heard that a bunch of white lacrosse players had raped a black, crack-ho, exotic dancer. Nope. Didn't compute.
I don't know that they're filled with hate -- they've just never been taught how to love. Or, if that's too sappy-sounding, they've never been taught to respect human life.
The liberal view is that we are all born civilized and caring. Nonsense. We're little wild animals who must be taught to be responsible human beings. These weren't.

And, regrettably, I had to agree with the conclusion. This kind of senseless violence will be with us until the liberal scourge is scoured from our country.
