In an interview with KMBC, the mother said her son heard "This is what you deserve. You get what you deserve, white boy." Those are the words that a 13-year-old boy allegedly heard right before he was set on fire. The victims mother, in an interview with KLTV is reporting that the young man was aware that he was being followed home.

Call me a kook for this but I believe this is something Obama wants in this country, the blacks agains’t the whites. He wants an all out war between the races and it damn sure is brewing. There isn’t much left that is needed to fan the flames enough to turn into a major race war. He knows this will bring major violence to our cities. Once the shooting starts, he can delcare it to be a revolution agains’t him (due to his color) and stop any and all operation of this country. No more elections so he can delcare himself “The One” all powerful ruler of the nation. The blacks will all cheer him and fall down on their knees before him as they already now do. Nothing can stop him.....well ALMOST nothing.

Until we can get hate crime law off the books, apply it equally to everyone. So that blacks and other minorities don’t get special treatment.

I guess there's an argument to be made for this position.

Until then we can’t let minorities skate by with lesser sentences for specifically targeting whites to attack.

I'm afraid I can't vote "guilty" with the rare minority defendant just to prove a point if I'm gonna vote "not guilty" for the large majority of such defendants...who are white.

Do you have some statistics that prove your inherent assertion that whites are the perpetrators of a “large majority” of race-based attacks?

Do you know that according to DOJ stats that in 90% of all black/white violent crimes the white person is the victim and the black person is the perpetrator?

That is not asking you to be inconsistent. It’s asking you to be consistent in the application of the hate crimes laws.

Basically I,as a juror,would refuse to "apply" hate crime laws regardless of the race of the defendant or the "victim".And if my hunch is correct if I'm ever seated on a jury hearing a hate crime case the defendant will be white so consistency wouldn't be an issue.

So,if called upon to hear a hate crime case the defendant can count on a vote of "not guilty" from me on any such charge regardless of race,gender,etc,etc.I can make no such promises regarding any charge of assault...attempted murder...etc,etc,etc.It *all* depends on the evidence presented during the trial.

I understand where you are coming from.

For me, until such bad law as hate crimes are finally gotten rid of as a legal precedent, it is only fair that it be applied equally to all people, and not just benefit those groups deemed to be politically correct. Othewise even more injustice will be done under the guise of “law” and only further cement in people’s minds it’s okay to legally discriminate against whites - but no other groups.

I bet most so called hate crimes are committed ON white people. But you never hear them called that. It’s time to do away with the silly designation “hate crime” (as opposed to what, a love crime ;) ).
