I was talking to a fellow Christian about someone doing something comparably horrible and admitted that I could never inflict enough pain or do justice, which is why I simply say to the Eternal Judge, “Have at it.”
Yes, true. My horror and disgust, and my wish that these two suffer severe pain, can of course not happen, nor would I be personally able to inflict such a punishment on anyone. But God's eternal wrath will surely be directed on these monsters. I have read stories of what He has done, and I trust in His ultimate justice, no matter if the pale imitations here on Earth may fail.
