Please go away, George. A real conservative at the top of the ticket could sweep both bodies.

Wrong - vote for someone for President ... even if you have to cast a write-in vote for Noneof Theabove.

Its looking increasingly likely that I’ll go to the polls to vote in the downticket races only.

Yeah! Helping Obama to a second term is a great idea!

Maybe you could also hold your breath until you turn blue.

Didn’t Michael Steele two years ago say there was no reasonable expectation of taking the House, either?

Believing in yourself is a huge part of winning. The mindset should be a bit Muhammad Ali-like. Predict a big win and act extremely confident. If you don't win, you deal with it, but it doesn't help even a little to play the ‘defeated pragmatist’ card.

These are the same pundits who thought Hillary and Giuliani would be pitted against each other in the 2008 race. We haven't had a blow-out presidential election in quite a while. This will be no different. A few percentage points on either side will make the difference, and it is way too early to make the kind of comments Will is making.

many polls have shown Obama losing different candidates, and gas prices are just rising. What’s he thinking?

[ A real conservative at the top of the ticket could sweep both bodies. ]

That is what’ makes it so frustrating!

I haven’t been able to figure out where Will is coming from for some time. He was a big backer of Gov. Daniels who decided not to run. He was also an early backer of Gov. Pawlenty. His wife worked on the campaign of the Gov. of Texas (And we saw how that worked out). He doesn’t seem to like any of the current candidates, so I guess he has just thrown in the towel.

[ Believing in yourself is a huge part of winning ]

Which explains Politico gleefully reporting this, but why is Will saying it?

Yeah! Helping Obama to a second term is a great idea!

"Obama's driving us towards the cliff at 100 mph" is not a good reason to vote for someone who will only drive us towards the cliff at 80 mph.

My vote goes to the person who will lock-up the brakes, if I can find one.

SOME ADDITIONAL PROOF THAT RUSH LIMBAUGH IS RIGHT ONCE AGAIN which he is 99.87% of the time.

Don’t RINOS such as Will care that the Manchurian President Obama would have 4 more years to stock our judiciary with lifelong appointment Progressive, Anti-Constitutionalist appointees to rule over our lives?

George Will is a miserable DEFEATIST at best and, very likely, a progressive himself posing as a conservative.

And you can vote for Romney like a mewling slave begging on your knees.

Lotsa luck with that search. I’m with Levin - I will vote for an orange juice can over Obama.

The problem with this is that Obama does not recognize any REAL legitimacy beyond The Revolution.

He can work with Congress when Congress does what he wants. When Congress does not, he wars on the opposition and does what he wants by other means.

George Will (and Mitt Romney, +/- Rick Santorum) do not recognize the dangerous person who calls himself “Obama”. The intrinsic power of his office, plus his loyalty to non-American and anti-American forces, make it very very unlikely that any Congress can exercise any power to counter The Revolution, aside from removal - which, if Obama has just been reelected, will not occur.

November 6 is a real now or never moment.

If gas prices continue rising, I don't see how Obama keeps the White House. Yesterday, I noticed that the prices jumped in my area. About 10 cents in a week to an average of about $3.85 for regular. However, I did find one station that sold gas for $3.73 and counted my "blessings" although that price is about 50 cents more than in December. Hopefully I will soon get some coupons soon that will allow me to score FREE gas like I did last autumn. Man, that felt good. About an entire month of driving around with a full tank of FREE gas.

Anyway, if gas hits $5 per gallon in a few months as they predict, Obama will have extreme trouble remaining in office. Too many people get pissed off about the price of gas.

If the DC GOP bumbles the easiest White House victory in 30 years, we either remove the leadership entirely and replace it with conservative activists, or we leave and go third party. The fact that they might not even win the White House against one of the greatest human disasters in the western hemisphere in a hundred years is absurd.

I have always stuck with the party, and we must stick together to remove Obama, but the fact that so many beltway insiders are constantly of the mindset that we just ‘let Obama’ win is despicable.
