Moreover, I’ll bet a dollar that if Romney gets the nod, Sarah, Rick, and Newt will all be up on stage in support.

3. I ain’t voting for Romney under any circumstances. Evil is evil is evil. I ain’t voting for any more RINOS. I am not holding my nose any more. I have been voting since the 1960s. This will be the first presidential election I refuse to vote in. Voting for Romney is like having Jimmy Carter as our candidate.

A couple of comments:

1. I do not support Romney AT ALL. Personally I favor Gingrich, and could easily live with Santorum. None of them fit my ideal.

2. Romney, as bad as he is, is not anywhere as bad as Obama, or even Carter (I cannot imagine Romney kow-towing to our enemies like either of the other 2). I'm quite confident that we'll still have a country and some degree of liberty after his time in office expires (assuming he gets in), even if things will likely not be as I'd really like to see them.

3. Regarding Evil: All that is necessary for Evil to triumph is for good men (and women) to do nothing. Voting 3rd party or staying home is the very definition of "nothing" when it comes to Presidential elections.

I would cast a public vote if I could. Many times I have not cast votes I’ve been proud of but believe that I have always made the best choice available. In our primary, March 13th I will vote for not only the best available but also the best possible candidate, Newt Gingrich.

At this time I will not consider voting for Romney, there is no need to, I expect Newt to be on the November ballot. There will be plenty of time prior to election day to consider what I must do if by some fluke Newt is not our nominee.

I am comfortable now saying I will not vote for Romney. I have done what needs to be done in the past and would probably do the right thing once I determine what that may be. I have come to the conclusion this past year that I’m less of a good Republican and more of a good Conservative who needs to help fix the Republican party.

The difference between Romney and Obama is so little that it really doesn't matter who wins.

A Romney victory in the general election would be a huge disaster for conservatives.

You've nailed it!

>>>This more than just the POTUS. This is also about Obama getting to choose 2-3 Supreme Court judges. People that say they won’t vote will give us an Obama court for 30-40 years.

Not voting is only screwing our children and grand babies! We have to get this manchurian candidate OUT!<<<

Mitt would nominate judges who are just as bad. In fact, he might nominate WORSE justices because he’d have a much easier time getting them approved by the Republicans in the Senate.

Remember, in the movie, the “Manchurian Candidate” was a Communist posing as a Conservative Republican. (Sound familiar?), not an a guy everyone knows is a lefty, like Obama.

The bottom line is a second Obama term or a Romney presidency will be an absolute disaster for America. Pledging to vote for the “lesser of two evils” only helps ensure that Bishop Mitt will get the nomination and we will be stuck with that horrible choice in November.

We need to send a clear message to the the establishment that MITT IS NOT AN OPTION. It is Santorum, Newt, or some other Conservative who might win a brokered convention, or OBAMA.

Do you honestly think we will have another shot at conservatism after another four years of obama?

Then you must be OK with another 4 years of Obama. You are literally guaranteeing it.

I know that you posted that to yourself, but what was the point?

I won’t be voting for Romney myself, but do I expect that the political leaders of the GOP would back the nominee no matter how much they disrespect him, yes.

If Bill Still is the Libertarian Candidate I will vote for him.
Otherwise I probably will write in “None of the Above” as my choice.
I will not again vote for a Republican, they have shown themselves to be spineless and as corrupt as the Democrats.
I suspect the time for a New Political Party is at hand!!!

I'm actually starting to hope that a 3rd party emerges.

Imagine, Newt Gingrich, Master Statesman and Economist, with VP Sarah Palin. To allow her to study under him and gain valuable experience. Which will set up her own 2 term dynasty after Newt leaves Office. (Call it the “Tea Party”, of course!)

It is very much possible, especially now.

I will vote for the GOP nominee.

I will not participate in Obama getting re-elected.

We have to keep the House, win the Senate and win the White House.

We cannot allow Obama and his corrupt Administration to be in office one moment past noon on January 20, 2013.

That is the prime directive.

With that said, GO NEWT!

You’re not going to win this argument here.

Most people here don’t see a whole lot of difference between Obama and Romney.

In fact, it can be argued that Romney will be WORSE than Obama, because he will pursue liberal policies under the guise of being a Republican, and the GOP Congress probably won’t be able to hold him in check.

On the other hand, the hope is that the real conservative voices would hold a President Romney’s feet to the fire. I’m speaking mostly of Sarah Palin.

My thoughts on the matter are that if Romney is elected POTUS, we will most certainly need to primary him in 2016. Hopefully Palin will be up to it.

The good news for me is that I live in CA and won’t have to make any such decision. I won’t be voting for Romney because I don’t have to. I’m not in a swing state, so it isn’t a dilemma for me.

I agree with you that Louisiana could vote for Obama if Romney is the nominee. It's even possible other traditional Republican Southern States could go blue.

I'll say this, in reading through the replies to this thread, it's almost unanimous that no one here wants Romney. I strongly suspect that feeling is shared by most of the Conservative electorate. Yet, here we are again with a Republican hierarchy doing everything in their power to ensure Conservatives have no representation.

When you consider that almost every poll done in the past year says that a plurality of voters consider themselves Conservatives, it's apparent that the powerful within the Republican Party are not our allies.
